Some may think that the crown is the prize in pageants, but every beauty queen at the end of her reign speaks about the experience — and usually, we get a glimpse of the countries they visited and the smiles on the faces of people whose lives they touched.
The Miss Universe Organization partners with Smile Train to bring these smiles in a literal sense, but it should be emphasized that it engages in a number of other charitable works and this wasn’t left out during the tour organized by the Department of Tourism for the Miss Universe queens and candidates.
On Thursday, the women took the stage for a fashion charity gala held for the benefit of #Hope4Change Foundation. It was historic to see three Miss Universe titlists strut down the runway, but it was their time onstage with the three beneficiaries that was the real highlight of the evening.
